the universal counterintelligence core competencies - volume 1 (7/06)
The National Counterintelligence Institute is proud to release its first competency volume that will be used by the Institute as the foundation for development of CI community training standards. These standards will be forthcoming within the coming months. Volume 2 will address competencies for CI analysts, investigators, operators, and collectors. It will be released in the early fall.

the compendium of counterintelligence training and education (7/06)
The Institute's research, evaluation, and accreditation function is a continuous process that ensures CI training and education activities throughout the community are addressing the most current sets of core competencies across CI career paths. The Compendium of Counterintelligence Training and Education, Private/Academic Course Offerings (2/2007), is a core element of this function. It is a full-scope accounting of existing CI training and education activities offered throughout the government and private sectors.
